What affects forklift rental cost
- Capacity
- A 5-ton forklift costs noticeably more than a 2.5-ton one. Pick the smallest machine that safely lifts your heaviest load with a 20–25% margin.
- Fuel type
- Battery-electric forklifts rent for more than diesel ones but cost far less to run per shift and are the only option for food, pharma and indoor areas.
- Rental period
- Daily hire is the most expensive per day. Weekly plans are cheaper, and monthly or long-term rentals give the lowest effective daily rate.
- Transport
- Delivery and pickup are charged at actuals by distance from our Jaipur yard. Within Jaipur city, transport is included for monthly rentals.
- Operator
- If you need our trained operator, it is added to the rent on a daily or monthly basis.
- GST and deposit
- 18% GST is added to the rent (you can claim input credit). A refundable security deposit — usually one month's rent for long hires — is returned when the machine comes back.
How to pay less for forklift hire
- Book monthly if you need the machine more than about 12–15 days — it usually costs less than daily hire.
- Match capacity to your real load; an oversized forklift costs more to rent and to run.
- Choose electric for long indoor shifts — the higher rent is often recovered in diesel savings.

Yes. 18% GST is charged on forklift rental and you receive a GST invoice, so registered businesses can claim input tax credit.
Is fuel included in the forklift rent?
No. Diesel or LPG is arranged by the customer. Routine maintenance and normal wear-and-tear repairs are included in the rent.
Is it cheaper to rent or buy a forklift?
Renting is usually cheaper if you need the forklift for less than two to three years or your workload is seasonal — there is no capital cost, maintenance is included and you can change the machine as needs change.
